Winter Park was Colorado's first skiing location beginning in 1920's, but the town used to be named West Portal and was changed in 1939. The first J-bar tow was installed that December. The ticket for that season was one dollar!

I did get to see a moose at a distance and we all saw a fox twice, in the park across the street. The kids loved it!
We were happy to reach our destination called Trailhead Lodges. Nice place.

Besides having my back trouble, we all had a great time in the snow. Stephen and Anna treated me to a hand and foot massage, which was heavenly! Thank you again!
God made our seasons so we can enjoy each and every one of them. The most I enjoy, of course, is the fall. But being with family is the greatest joy, seeing how the boys have grown and reconnecting with son and daughter-in-law.
