A Journey of Mystery

We were brought into this world, with a journey and a purpose....to find this hidden longing, something to be filled...a mystery to be discovered...
"The mystery that has been kept hidden for ages and generations, but is now disclosed..." Colossians 1:26.  Lets journey on.

"Christ Himself taught this truth.  "On that day, you will realize that I am in my Father, and you are in Me, and I in you." John 14:20.

"For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities - His eternal power and divine nature -  have been clearly seen..." Romans 1:20.
 Vital Reality.
"Do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ Himself?" 1 Cor. 6:15.
"Now you are the body of Christ and each one of you is a part of it." 2 Cor. 12:27.
"...so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith." Ephesians 3:17.
"For to me, to live is Christ..." Philippians 1:21.
"I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me." Galatians 2:20.
"..the One who is in you is greater that the one who is in the world." 1John 4:4.
I hope your journey finds you in Christ, closer to God and wanting more of Him.  "He died for us so that whether we are awake or asleep, we may live together with Him." 1 Thess. 5:10.

Winter Park Colorado!

Winter Park was Colorado's first skiing location beginning in 1920's, but the town used to be named West Portal and was changed in 1939.  The first J-bar tow was installed that December.  The ticket for that season was one dollar!  www.coloradoskihistory.com

I did get to see a moose at a distance and we all saw a fox twice, in the park across the street.  The kids loved it!

We were happy to reach our destination called Trailhead Lodges.  Nice place.

We had a park across the street that was groomed for sledding.
 Anna in the kitchen!
Jim all grins because he will get to ski with his grandkids!
 Stephen....get off!
 Erik ready for ninja sledding....

It was sure cold outside! Brrrr!
 My honey and I.
You can see the ski area in the distance.  We were off on a walk.

On our way for some snow tubing.

The resort of Winter Park,  we were on our way for some smores.  Gee it was sure cold!

Million dollar face! Both of them! (Isak)

 Grandpa with kids in tow!
Besides having my back trouble, we all had a great time in the snow.  Stephen and Anna treated me to a hand and foot massage, which was heavenly!  Thank you again!

God made our seasons so we can enjoy each and every one of them.  The most I enjoy, of course, is the fall.  But being with family is the greatest joy, seeing how the boys have grown and reconnecting with son and daughter-in-law.

Always make a good memory everyday for the ones you love, because we are not promised tomorrow.  Don't just sit there! Go!  (Hope you enjoyed this!)

Christmas Nostalgia for you!

Have  yourself a Merry Little Christmas....I hear those words sung in my memory by Bing Crosby and many other wonderful songs by various artists.
Christmas time can bring about sad memories and bouts of depression if we don't catch it in time.  God says: "Think about such things as whatever is true, noble, right, pure, lovely and admirable. If anything is excellent or praiseworthy - think about it." Phillipians 4:8.

Of all the things my mom saved through her life was these Christmas cards.  I am the thankful recipient of these, dating around the 1940's and 50's.  I love them and they bring about nice memories of my childhood.

Do you have anything from your past that bring a smile to your face and good memories?

If not, you can start today to make a memory!

An angel of the Lord appeared to them....Luke 2:9

Glory to God in the highest... Luke 2:14

Thanksgiving and Gratefulness = JOY
Have yourself a Merry Christmas and enjoy God's blessing, family, friends and most of all, God's love to us through His Son, Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior.
