The Great Plant Rescue!

In the realm of "grandparenting" we get to have bragging rights. Today I want to brag on my grandson Jayden. My hubby planned the "Great Plant Rescue" with Jayden, to introduce him to the world of gardening. During a recent bike ride, he spotted a wild pink Lantana growing on the side of the road. Yes, this was the plant he and Jayden were going to "rescue" to my back yard! Hopefully the butterflies will love it.

Short and sweet these outings are, coupled with swinging, snacking and the occasional kiss, to keep their interest right where we want it.

You and Jimmy are wonderful examples of great grandparenting....I begins....here when they are little........by the time they are teenagers......the relationship you have built will be soooooooo rewarding....that is what Granma and Granpa did with us.....congrats.....keep up the great work....just loving those "grands".
